SMPN 1 Tasikmalaya is located in the central town of Tasikmalaya. it's beside the town squre, so every body can visit this school easily. Unfortunately, this school isn't so wide. It's only 3500m squre with 1046 students. We can imagine how crowded it is!
As the most leading and outstanding school in Tasikmalaya, that condition doesn't make the school loose both the beauty and the fragrance. Conducting by Mrs. Dewi Alita, the teacher of biology and educational environment Science, this school make a newest program. That is "Green School Program". The aim of this program is not only to make the school green and fresh but also to make it beauty. All the students and teachers welcome this program happily. We realize that It can make our life health. "Hopefully the program will continue forever and never end", said the Principal, Mr. Yudhistira.
